My wife and I have been patrons of The Village Tavern for 6 plus years now. We even had our wedding rehearsal dinner there. Service and food has always been great, up until last night. We went in for dinner and drinks on friday night and as always the place was hopping. The greet staff was great and was only the usual 15-25 min wait.(this is to be expected). Wait staff usually introduce themselves, but not tonight. My friends and I ordered fish fry and my wife something off the menu. This is where the night went south. The fish was cold and when we looked for our waitress we found her eating at another table. Not wanting to make a big seen on such a busy night we quietly left with that what happened feeling.
