Torishin's my #1 favorite Japanese restaurant in the US! The food's exceptionally authentic and delectable. Plenty to choose from in the menu. The appetizers and dishes are cooked home-style and inexpensive. Sushi is great, too. Other than the food itself, I'm totally in love with the ambiance. Cozy, simple, yet elegant. It gives you a comfortable, homey feeling. You'd find mostly Japanese there - a sure sign of an authentic eatery. My only complaint is the opening hours: it's open for lunch, closed, then open again for dinner. I wish it's open all day (and night)! - Y.K. Siow, 07/15/2002
