This used to be the best sushi place around. The Spicy Tuna had a distinct flavor matched nowhere else. Unfortunately it is now under new ownership. I tried the new owners sushi a few times and even though the name is the same, they taste and quality is mediocre. The new owners and wait staff were very friendly though. - Anon, 01/11/2006

I just moved into the area and I've been looking for a regular sushi place. I like to order out at least once a week, so I tried out Sushi Masa. The food was OK, but definitely not the best. However, while I was looking through the menu, the hostess (who I think was the owner) was very rude and impatient. I decided to try it out again today (a month later), but her attitude didn't change and this time she even forgot to put the miso soup with my order. Are you kidding me? The sushi is OK there. But for the best sushi in the Chicagoland area go to Simon Lins Asian Bistro on 410 Milwaukee Ave in Lincolnshire. Ask for the seared trio you wont regret it!!! - Charles, 11/16/2007

This is an exellent place to go for sushi. I am very selective when it comes to sushi and Sushi Masa has my vote for freshness and great taste (as it did with the previous owners). The staff is friendly and their service is outstanding...and quick. - Jennifer, 07/25/2006
