we have been to the silver stallion before and it was ok but why do they have old crabby servers and the host was yelling to the soup was good and the water was cold ...would i go back i think not.... - hungry hippo, 12/29/2009

The Silver Stallion is a nice, good-sized, family-owned restaurant with a large American, Greek, and Italian-style menu, very good breakfasts (when you ask for the bacon to be crisp, it really is), nice fresh whole-meal salads,lots of good sandwiches, a couple of soups every day, and good dinner entrees. They're open for long hours, and there's an ample, free parking lot. There's one of those "see-your-dessert" displays, so if you want a gigantic piece of cake, you can have that, too. They have a kids' menu. Smoking and non-smoking rooms, and a separate banquet room that will seat a max of about 100. It's an institution in the town, and you'll see lots of local names there, and lots of local clubs eat there. It's moderately priced, and relaxed.
