I got my 'break the fast tray' from max's deli in 05'. It was beautiful. I use to get it from a place in Northbrook, but after they messed up my order three times in the last five years I decided to try something new. Someone told me about a max's in highland park so I gave it shot. Same food if not better, without the attitude. I may live in northbrook but going a little further east is no problem . - Lee S, 09/09/2006

A friend introduced me to Max's. I will always be grateful. I was not familiar with the Highland Park area when we met and had never been to Max's. Now, family and friends have me stop for your corned beef and soups on my way there, and I live about 25 to 30 miles away from the deli myself! Ahhhhh, the joys of being a VERY satisfied customer!
