This is one of my favorite stops when I'm in town. I love the new healthy wraps, but I usually go for a nice char-dog. They even have a new web-site www.little-louies.com. - Barry, 09/21/2007
the fries, they are AMAZING, best fries ever. And the atmosphere is priceless. - Northbrookian, 02/10/2007
We went to Little Louie's because of a recommendation, and boy what a colossol disappointment. First of all, the prices are absolutely out of line. Anyways back to the food. The hot dog was marginally acceptable-nothing special, just a regular hot dog. The cheeseburger we ordered was a JOKE-I have never seen such a small beef patty on a bun. It was dwarfed by the tomato slice. It was about as substantial as a White Castle burger, except at $2.75 one would expect at least a little value for the $$$. Even the bun was stale. OK, then the fries came HIGHLY touted to us. They were at best bland, very greasy, the kind a bad cook would make on their home stovetop. $1.80 for a SMALL order of fries (and I mean SMALL). The whole experience just left us feeling that we had been taken for a ride. If you have ever been to any of the numerous excellent dog-and-burger places in Chicagoland, you WILL regret having stopped at Little Louie's and being FLEECED. I am convinced that its popularity is due in large part to the fact that it was perhaps ONCE a good place-and it works in their favor that they're about the only game in town. Convenience wins out over quality and value, again. - Jay W, 09/01/2006
First off, Little Louie's is on Shermer Road, not Sherman. I love this place! The fries are dangerous...I can't find anywhere better. The service is great - owners are cute...great family place. - jgilly74@aol.com, 11/27/2001
