Open since July/96, this eatery features a fine selection of tapas and Mexican fare. La Tasca features imported hand painted tile murals and a marble bar. Extensive wine list to choose from along with the specialty drink of the restaurant, white and red sangria. Best of all a wide variety of Tapas foods and exotic desserts to create your own menu to suit your taste. Private room, downtown atmosphere, live bands and Flamenco shows will guarantee you have fun. - sys, 06/15/2001

I found La Tasca about 5 years ago, thought it was a wonderful date place. Since then they have developed to a powerful eatery. The food is spectacular, live shows are FUN and people nice and attentive. La Tasca has grown into my favorite rest. and has become a big part of my recretional life. I defenitely recommend La Tasca for anyone to try...you'll see what i am talking about after your first visit.Try the herbed goat chees, zesty garlic potato salad, smoked salmon, grilled vegies, paella, flan. Liquore 43 is to die for. Bring a large group so you can try different dishes. See one of thier flamenco shows or live bands. GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! A MUST TRY.... - Karen Morales, 01/25/2002
La Tasca Tapas our favorite tapas restaurant in all of chicago and burbs. Kept reading the reviews in the tributne, pioneer press, dailey herald etc..etc..etc My wife and I met in Spain during our college years and for about six years have sought out Tapas here in Chicago and on vacations. We use to frequent emilios and iberico etc. but we travel the extra 15 minutes to go to La Tasca at least once a month.....more time when they have flamenco shows, slasa lessons, live bands ....We cant get enoughof La Tasca. our favorite is the Queso, paella, and flan(out of this world)....Bravo La Tasca!! - Raul, 12/11/2001
