Muted red and yellow walls adorned with peaceful seaside paintings pave the way for juicy and flavorful jerk chicken, available as wings, in a salad or sandwich, or as an entree. Other menu items in this Jamaican restaurant include slow-cooked oxtails with thyme and other spices, and beef stew. Daily specials are in the $6-$10 range depending on portion size and include curry goat, and cowfoot browned in a garlic, onion and tomato gravy with butter beans. All entrees are accompanied by white rice or rice-and-peas sweetened with coconut milk. Other interesting side dishes include fried plantains, cabbage slaw, and veggie patties. Wash your meal down with a Jamaican soda or juice; no alcohol is offered or allowed in the restaurant.
