Passed by it several times on my way to the mall and always wanted to try. Finally stopped in after hearing so many things about it and it surpassed every expectation I had. Simply exquisite. I started off with a ceaser salad which was very enjoyable. I thought that all salads were the same until I tried this one. Then I moved on to rack of lamb, which was superb. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Left my mouth watering. With my lamb a nice gentleman suggested a wonderful glass of wine that complimented our meals perfect. For desert my wife and I enjoyed a succulent tart. The tart was tangy, yet delightful. Without a doubt Café P. is my new favorite spot in the area. - Taylor T., 09/30/2002

The dining experience and service was excellent, including a french waiter with a fun accent and playful attitude. There was even a large french family chatting away at the next table. The food was actually better than I have had at Ambria or Spiaggia, and on a par with Gordons (my favorite fine dining restaurant) and Everest (my wife's favorite restaurant). My dinner started with a chicken ravioli garnished with asparagus, nuts and mushrooms; which was beautifully presented on real china. This was followed by one of the nicest house salads I have had in Chicago. The entree was a very creative salmon and bass dish wrapped in spinach and phyllo pastry; on a bed of thin noodles. Desert was a white chocolate and custard moose surrounded by a citrus sauce (maybe mango). The meal for two including a $38 dollar bottle of wine and a nice tip was $140.00. - John R.
