I am a very "weight minded" person and avoid fattening foods; especially pizza...Burt's Place is the exception to the rule! The last reviewer was right, you should call ahead, but you probably won't....but the wait will be worth it!!!!! I call about a 1/2 hour ahead for pickup on my way home from work....But when you pick up, you miss the coziness/friendliness of this landmark eatery...Burt's Place is a hidden culinary treasure!!! - Brad, 12/04/2007
This is the best pizza in chicago. Pequods has nothing on Burt's Place. Try to call first and order because when it's busy it is a little wait. (Very chugable beer though if youre in no hurry) - Dave G, 01/22/2007
