Don't go there on a holiday. Allgauer's Grill has traditionally been understaffed on 'restaurant' holidays such as Mother's day. I went with a party of 7 and our waiter seemed as though he was a bus boy only hours before. Such poor service, that we ended-up stacking our salad and soup dishes and empty glasses onto the floor because our table was so full. High price to pay for such bad service. I've gone there the last 7 out of 8 Mother's days and experience has repeated itself each time. This last time will be my final trip. After awful service and a total of more than 3 hours to complete our meal, the place had the nerve to add more than $50 to our bill as a 'service' charge....HA! What service? We weren't the only ones having a bad restaurant experience...a 4-top 20 feet away walked on their bill. My recommendation? Go to Sullivan's. It'll cost you a few dollars more, but at least they know how to treat their customers. - LWatt, 06/11/2004
