The show hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fairgrounds are located on Randall Road in St. Charles between Routes 38 and 64. Donation is $8. Luncheon is available and parking is free.
The shows theme will be Decorative Arts. Decorative arts are ornamental and functional works in ceramic, wood, glass, metal, and textile. They include furniture, furnishings, interior design, and architecture. Like the fine arts, these functional objects can also be highly imaginative and aesthetic. In times past, many utilitarian items were decorated to be pleasing objects as well as functional. Everything including door knobs, newel posts, quilts, apothecary jars, furniture items, hooked rugs, pottery, and bottles were embellished with interesting design.
