[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Elgin's North East Neighborhood Association invites you to join us on December 2nd, to tour some of Elgin's finest homes in the Lord's Park neighborhood dressed in their holiday finery! Six splendid homes will be available for guided tours where one can hunt for creative holiday decorating ideas, gaze at displays of holiday themed collections and treasures, or simply view how someone interprets their personal style through pride in their home. A featured home to be treasured is that of Will and Maureen Alexander, co-owners of the Elgin Windmill Factory Antiques and Architectural Salvage. Touring this house is like visiting a museum or simply stepping back in time. The "visual candy" in this house is everywhere, as the home will be trimmed with a variety of vintage and antique decorations plus several themed trees. For additional details about the NENA Homes for the Holidays House Tour and ticket information, please call Patty Maynard at 847-931-0239. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 for on-site registration. Homes for the Holidays House Tour registration is at the Elgin Public Museum located in Lord's Park. - Tania P, 11/08/2006
