Marklund invites the community to their second annual September Fest, which includes a Harley-Davidson Run and Musical guests American English, a Beatles tribute band, and Fireworks. Harleys, Beatles and fireworks only scratch the surface of this jam-packed celebration. Other activities include kiddie arts and crafts, games, drawings, face-painters, the 101.9 MIX prize wheel, plus food and drink provided by local vendors. For over 50 years, Marklund has provided a not-for-profit network of services dedicated to helping infants, children and adults with severe and profound developmental disabilities reach their highest potential and live as full a life as possible through medical care, residential facilities and state-of-the-art habilitative therapies, and quality educational programs. Sponsorships, information tables, crafter spots, VIP and Family Packages are available. Volunteers are needed.
