I recently ate at Cheddar's Bar and Grill in Bolingbrook. How disappointing. Our onion strings were soggy and our fries were so salty that they were not edible. When the server asked if we wanted a box for the onion strings I told her they weren't very good, that they were soggy. Her response -- 'oh.... would you like dessert?' She didn't concern herself at all with out dissatisfaction. I looked for comment cards when I left. The Hostess told me they were on the table. There weren't any. - Dee, 07/14/2005

My husband and I used to go to Cheddars at least once a week for lunch. The last couple of visits/meals were lacking, however. On more than one occassion, we encountered less than experienced wait staff (they took breaks so long, we felt like we were waiting in line at disney). On the last visit, we ordered the rib dinner with the works potato; the ribs were very bad, so bad you had to use a sharp knife to cut through. They obviosly were going through new staff that had little experience with preparing decent ribs. They usually were so tender as to fall of the bone with ease. That was not the case, so we will probably never visit cheddar's again. - Bolingbrook Resident, 04/18/2004
