Located in Chicago's North Loop, this building was dedicated in May of 1985 and has been serving the people of Illinois and tourists alike to the tune of over 2 million visitors per yer. The multiuse government building houses several state agencies and offices as well as shops and restaurants. It also holds the Illinois Artisans Shop, State of Illinois Gallery, and one of the largest collections of modern Illinois artwork. - Alotta, 10/02/2003
