This is the world's largest indoor aquarium, exhibiting fresh and saltwater fish, mammals, reptiles, and invertebrates. Check out the daily feedings at the Coral Reef at 11am and 2pm daily. The new oceanarium houses an environment similar to the Pacific Northwest. Several dolphins and Beluga whales are shown several times daily. Other exhibits include Wild Reef, Amazon Rising, and the Caribbean Reef. During peak times (summer weekends), the aquarium is extremely crowded.
Tickets should be purchased in advance to avoid long lines.

$21 adults, $14 for Chicago residents
$15 senior citizens (65 & older) and children ages 3-11, $10 for Chicago residents

On Wednesday 8/13/03 5:44 PM The facility was superb. Great examples, clean, informative. The staff was rude and ignorant. First, they charge extra to get in the Oceanarium, we purchased tickets under the impression that we would be seeing a dolphin show. Then we waited in line for 35 min. Then they let



us in only to tell us that there was no show for our time slot and there was no refunds. The staff was less than friendly, and had no idea what was going on. Parking is about a mile away and costs $10. Other than that, it was great!!!! - Aqua Dog, 08/13/2003

I recently went to the aquarium again a few weeks ago. Although I am only 13 years old, I have always enjoyed going there (most young people don't). I refreshed my memory on some already known information and also learned some new things (the sea horse exhibit). I hope you continue to have such wonderful programs available to people like me.
