Detail for Oz Park : Park Garden
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Developed in the late 60s and early 70s as part of a community improvement project, this park was named in honor of Lyman Frank Baum, author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, who lived west of the park. Today Oz Park is located in what is considered one of the city's prime areas. - Alotta, 10/01/2003
I've grew up always within 4 blocks of Oz Park. Needless to say, it has been like a home to me over the years. Looking at this pictures from my college dorm fills me with a sense of nostolgia, and it is with great pride that I describe my hometown to my classmates. I look forward to our football game to be played over Thanx. - Zach, 11/26/2002
Great treehouse feel, and we LOVE the seesaw, which is big enough for the whole family at once, but there are a couple dangerously broken and/or rotten areas. - anotherMisha, 09/04/2002
