Smith releases "Artemisia," her newest album, at a launch concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Old Town School of Folk Music, 4544 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago. Combining lyrical and visual, Smith's "Artemisia" is inspired by the life of revolutionary 17th century painter Artemisia Gentlieschi, with the concert set against a backdrop of her paintings.
