[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Built by Irish immigrants and dedicated on Christmas morning in 1856, Old St. Pat's became Chicago's oldest public building after surviving the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Its stained-glass windows and artwork bear various Celtic influences. Old St. Pat's is a Chicago landmark as well as being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. - Alotta, 10/01/2003
