Detail for Holy Name Cathedral : Church Catholic
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Designed by Patrick Charles Keely, this structure was completed in 1875.
A significant interior remodeling occurred in the 1960's adding marble to the entryways, and signifcant rework of the church organ. In 1994 Stonecarpet (tm) was installed in the main public areas.
Each Sunday, before the 5:15pm mass, there is usually an organ concert (starts at 4pm). Highly recommended! $10 donation is requested. - wm, 07/18/2006
What a beautiful cathedral structure. It would be so nice to restore the inside with beautiful Catholic statues and paintings again, etc. Once I was inside, it looked more like a generic, Protestant church with all of the wood paneling. Any future plans for that?? - Ann Winkle, 01/20/2007
