Since opening in 1929, the Civic Opera House has been home to Chicago Grand Opera Company, Chicago Opera Company, Chicago City Opera Company, and Chicago Civic Opera. Since a huge renovation in 1993, it is now home to Lyric Opera of Chicago. - Alotta, 09/30/2003
