Located between Clark and Halsted on Diversey, this place has the best Empress Chicken and Spring Rolls in Chicago. People must know about these Spring Rolls, I have been kept up nights salivating for their scrumptious texture and don't get me started on the dipping sauce. The owner is very polite and professional about delivering good service. Peking Duck is also a good bet as is the Mongolian Beef and Hot and Sour Soup. I better stop there or I'll end up listing the whole menu. On a serious note, this place rocks! For those who remember Ginger on the corner of Wrightwood and Clark (has been closed for a few years now). The same owner runs Y2K cafe. Sorry, they no longer have the buffet, but have great lunch specials. Oh yes, and they finally have a liquor license. No more BYOB. - DAN/AMY, 07/02/2001
I go to Y2K at least once a week (at any rate, that's the frequency I shoot for). I too am shamefully addicted to the Empress chicken. For lack of more descriptive terminology, everything
on the menu is 'really good.' As is the service and the peaceful meditive decor. The washrooms are clean too! Everyone is really friendly and professional - anonymous, 05/04/2003
