I take my Italian restaurants very seriously. I think because it's so common in Chicago and there are so many choices in order for a Italian restaurant to jump off the page they have to really impress me with their options. I've heard about Viaggio for a long time. It's suppose to be authentic Italian like many of them claim to be. I m fairly disappointed because everything was just blah. That's the best word i can think of to describe it. Our waiter eras very charming and very passionate in everything he was selling. It's a water that he is not a car sales man. I ordered everything he recommended off of the specials n the menu. Let's start with appetizers we ordered the special of the day which was a four cheese



ravioli with Bolognese sauce. It tasted like pizza rolls with Bolognese sauce. Fancy pizza rolls. - prima, 04/22/2013

Then i ordered the red snapper fish another special. I felt like it was missing something. The sauce and the fish just didn't go together. My friends both ordered the lamb cops and seriously you can get that anywhere. So over all thought of the restaurant in west loop is I remember nothing from the meal because everything was so forgettable. My pallets didn't jump for joy on anything.
