Ventoso, meaning "windy" in Italian, features a unique approach to Italian cuisine.
Upscale Italian dining; menu items ($18-35) includes several veal dishes, beef tenderloin with portabello and asparagus, stuffed chicken, seafood stew, risotto, and steaks. Decor is quite eclectic, we found the subdued atmosphere in need of a diversion (music?), as the dining area has no windows. Directions: Enter the Marriott on Michigan Ave, walk straight to the central hall where the concierge is, and then go to the elevators on the left. Proceed to the 4th floor. - wm, 08/19/2003
