Went to the new location on 51st/Harper tonight. As with their other locations the food was very good. Over the past 2 years I have found their product to be very consistent. The location serves best as a take out but it does have seating that caters more to the high school students from across the street. The prices are inline with other jerk restaurants, $10-$11 for dinners and $7 for the lunch specials. As with almost every jerk place I have been it took F-O-R-E-V-E-R........... to get my food. In the 35 minutes I was waiting for my food, 4 people had items missing from their orders. 2 people tried to use their credit card but they were not set up for CC's. 2 people who were there before me were later told that they food they ordered was not available. For now I will attribute all of the above to the newness of this location. The other locations were prompt. Good luck to them. I have been waiting for over a decade for another jerk place in Hyde Park. The last was Island Delite which happened to be in the same location as Uncle Joes. - mels, 05/02/2008
