Sharing a kitchen with Frontera Grill, this upscale sibling features a more formal atmosphere and elaborate menu. A monthly changing menu features regional Mexican cuisine with starters such as tortitas de bacalao which are crispy potato-cod cakes accompanied by cucumber-manzano salsa, and masa boats with delightfully flavored black corn mushrooms. Main dishes include trout stuffed with summer squash, corn, squash blossoms, and onion, and roasted in corn husks; and a roasted guinea hen in a chili marinade.
