This restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes as well as daily specials. Menu items include basil duck with diced peppers and beans in a ginger-hoisin sauce, accompanied by lettuce leaves for wrapping. A sushi bar offers standard favorites. The food was decent but I recommend ordering the Thai food over the sushi. The sushi was a big disappointment. I am very familiar with traditional Japanese sushi but I feel like they cut some corners. For instance, the vinegar rice was bland and the wasabi was only effective in huge doses. Anyway, the service was horrible. Simply asking for a cup of water or chopsticks was not brought out without a hint of attitude and irritation. Our table ordered a very good amount of food. When the check came, I noticed that the waitress forgot one of our items. When I flagged her down, the waitress instead of apologizing, began reasoning that I was at fault. She insisted that taking it off the check would be a hassle and offered that I should take it to go. When I kindly declined, the waitress rolled her eyes and walked away. Taking the food and the service into consideration, I do not think I will be returning to this restaurant. - Jennifer, 11/11/2006
