I love this restaurant. I mean it has like the best tasting thai food ever. I live in Thailand and this is the only place where I have found to have the real thai taste. I mean, I grew up in this reataurant. My aunt is the owner, and some people who have came here for a long time would recognize me, I am the little girl who was there ever since the restaurant opened. I lived in Thailand for many years as a student. Thai food, like American, varies from haute cuisine to the everyday staples. I have been to chicago's 'best' (and most expensive) thai restaurants, but was always a bit dissapointed because very few people in Thailand actually eat that way. At Thai Super Chef i found the MOST AUTHENTIC thai food in chicago. The flavors are intense - and it is NOT americanized. A tiny little place, out of the way, but DELICIOUS! If your taste in thai does not surpass chicken satay and pad thai - then go anywhere. But if you want a proper spicy beef salad, or bowl of tom yum gai, or even sticky rice... Thai super chef is AWESOME! Maybe the king eats food like Arun's, but THIS is the food of the Thai People. - Spencer Lorde, 02/26/2001
