The bartenders and waiters are notably subpar. Great service is must and this restaurant has failed to grasp that. I figure it wouldn't be in business for long. In terms of food, the shrimps were overcooked and rubber-like. The ingrediants in

Originally went to Jilly's(what a joke) and dashed to Frog Bar(way to tight), we saw Tavern and decided to give it one last shot, what a fantastic place! We were fortunate enough to wrangle a table in the bar where we could see the rest of the room. We dined on appetizers and drank GandT's. What great service and great atmosphere. We celebrated a dinner - It was absolut excellent. The best ist the lobster served as starter. After this we went to the bar. They have all blends of excellent cigars and Champagne. For my wife's birthday, I had NON-smoking reservations at the Tavern on Rush for lunch. I chose it because I love the way the
holding company tends to run their other restaurants (Tuscany, Riva...etc). We were sat in a smoking section and when I asked if they had non-smoking, the VERY RUDE waitress told me that I would have to ask (funny, I thought I just had). I said 'can YOU please ask'. With a huff, she declared that she was WAY too busy to ask. It turns out that they had a non-smoking section but it was closed. Thankfully, Carmines was right next door so we picked up and changed restaurants. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is RUDE and you should AVOID IT.
