One of the original flagship restaurants of the booming Southport dining strip, this casual, contemporary Italian spot continues to grow more popular. A favorite stop for the before- and after-theater crowd, it can get a bit loud at times. Low lighting and exposed brick walls pave the way for appetizers such as an array of bruschettas, and entrees like chicken and pasta dishes, simply and deliciously prepared. No Saturday reservations are accepted, but call ahead for 'priority seating.' Hang out at the large bar area while waiting for a seat; sidewalk seating available in warmer months.
