We were recently in Chicago from the Washington DC area and wanted to experience some of the ethnic neighborhoods which Chicago is known for. Someone recommended Staropolska at 3030 Milwaukee Avenue. It was beyond anything I could have expected. It has a wonderful funky ethnic flavor and the food is wonderful. The meal was reasonable and sooooooo delicious. And there is a small deli next door which sells a lot of Polish goods. Run to this restaurant! We both had the Polish plate -- really good! - barbara, 12/11/2003
