A palindrome based on the Japanese words Ro (social gathering place), and Ka (heat/warmth/fire), RA's minimalist, modern decor wraps natural wood tables and rice paper light fixtures around a massive, fire-breathing robata grill, which'll heat up ginger-/ soy-glazed baby Yukon golds, Yuzu-marinated black cod, and NY strips bathed in black truffle aioli (there's also raw fish, from flame-seared sesame salmon, to sprawling platters of sashimi kept cold by blocks of ice). - wm, 07/12/2011
