Me and a group of my girl friends decided to go to Rio's After Hours on Saturday Night...what a great idea!! The live entertainment was awesome and the cocktails were cheap. Cool neighborhood and one of the more upscale restaurants in the vicinity. You would never guess their prices were so low!!! what a steal. Great atmosphere as well. The only way I can characterize this place is a "bait and switch". Every review, including some linked from their own website, and flyers in the restaurant said 2.50 corkage fee, they mix the drinks for you. They attempted to charge 3.50 PER MIXER FOR EVERY DRINK FROM OUR OWN BOTTLE for our party of four, for 17 drinks...with tax and tip over 70 just for our supposedly "byob" liquor, plus the cost of our liquor! There was nothing in the menu or anywhere that indicated this absurd fee, and when confronted they refused to



do anything about it. The owner was extremely rude to my girlfriend. This place should not get business, period. It is a sham. - Mike, 03/25/2007
