Located on a desolate block of Milwaukee Ave, Revolution could indeed breath life into the area. Brick walls, brewing vats, and a huge oval-shaped bar dominate the room .. this place is serious about the beer. Small batch micro-brews are the specialty; we liked the Belgian style and the Working Man's Ale (tapped right from the vat!). Best menu options are the beef stew (with mashed potatoes) and the pork chop (with stuffing). Entrees are priced at $14-22. - wm, 03/04/2010
Burgers are HUGE - if you can eat the whole thing you should get a prize. I'd recommend medium to medium-well to avoid a raw meat experience.
We'd like to see a few more items on the menu .. we'll be back to check!
Parking at Revolution Brewing: we recommend staying on California, using the metered spots.
