Reservations are not accepted at Purple Pig .. but we were glad to see one table was open when we arrived Tuesday night. Small plates, pork plates, are the specialty here. We sampled the pig's ear and pork shank plates - excellent. Decent wine list - on the pricy side, but expected as this is the Mag Mile. It is hard to talk here, as the place is a bit loud. Music selection was decent, mostly modern alternative fare. Expect to pay about $80 per couple here, plus wine, which averages about $75 per bottle. - wm, 02/07/2011
