My husband and I went there last night for a bite to eat after a movie, and were not disappointed. The house salad for $5.95 was a unique combination of greens, sweetened walnuts, hearts of palm, adn Bleu cheese, and tossed with a vinaigrette. I had the

chicken pot pie, which was served over a pastry-puff style piece of bread. It was piping hot and full of flavor, and just the right size. My husband's meal, though not as outstanding as mine, was quite good. He started with the split pea soup which was neither bland nor memorable. For his main course he had ribs. Though he liked the BBQ sauce, there wasn't a lot of meat on the bones. The atmosphere was nice, and we had a great people-watching picture window seat overlooking the corner of Illinois. With tax, tip, and no dessert or drinks, we got out of there for about $38. Not too bad!
