This neighborhood favorite is the creation of former Via Carducci and Bice employees. Exposed brick walls adorned with Italian street scenes pave the way for a traditional, pretty extensive, and reasonably priced menu; most dinner entrees are in the mid-teens. Appetizers include a tomato, onion, and cucumber salad over dried crostini, and beef carpaccio. Pasta offerings include basic selections as well as more unusual combinations such as a large stuffed pasta consisting of alternating stripes of egg pasta and squid ink, filled with shrimp sea bass and served with a lobster sauce. Just wish they knew how to manage reservations. We had a 7pm reservation. We left after 20 minutes when it looked like we would be waiting another 45. No place to have a drink while waiting. This problem apparently is consistent. Really put a damper on the evening. - Tom, 12/31/2007
