Dark green and wood accents pave the way for a comfortable front room with a bar and banquette seating. Take a few steps down to enter a charming back dining room with a fireplace. Small-plate menu items encourage tapas-style ordering; most are large enough to stand alone as a meal. Dishes include chicken- and sun-dried-tomato-stuffed artichoke, and lamb chops accompanied by risotto and sauteed spinach. Piattini is a cool new place in lincoln park. ive been there a couple times, both with my girlfriend as well as with groups. this wine bar offers a large wine list by the glass or bottle. the food is great with a low price. the atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. im glad this new restaurant came to our town and it will stay for a while. hope you all go and give it a try.. - Tony, 06/30/2003
