New eatery with talent hailing from from Naha; formerly Soju.

Hours: 5pm-2am Sunday-Friday; 5pm-3am Saturday - wm, 09/03/2005

Entrees ($10-20) include pork chops with black cherries, meatloaf, whitefish, fried chicken 'n' waffles, and burgers. Sides ($4-5) include baked beans, mac and cheese, and creamed spinach. Desserts ($4-5) include fried apple pie, Krispy Creme bread pudding, and ice cream with brownie. Bells Oberon is on tap; nice wine list. Full service bar. Due to limited seating (about 25 total) reservations are strongly suggested. Dresson a Saturday evening was motly business casual on up. - wm, 09/13/2005

Overall we liked this restaurant and though it was similar to Saussy on Grand. One nit pick: We really could have used s steak knife for the pork chop.

Music was exceptional (Massive Attack, Smiths, Pink Floyd) ... except the shuffle player played a few songs twice, and the volume was a bit loud. - wm, 09/05/2005

Don't be afraid to try the fried chicken and waffles. I was a little grossed out by the idea of putting maple syrup on chicken but it is very tasty. The chicken



is a little salty so the sweetness of the syrup balances quite nicely. The atmosphere was great. The waitstaff was very friendly and entertaining. I'd go back and I live in the suburbs!! - BW, 09/07/2005

1845 W. North Pleasantly pleased at this new local restaurant. Relaxing environment. Friendly & funny staff. Excellent fish special, great meatloaf, tasty fried chicken and waffle and to die for Krispy Kreme bread pudding! One should definitely check it out! - N. Yaniz, 09/05/2005
