Open for dinner Mon - Sat; closed Sundays. Enjoy first-rate food in this breathtaking space, complete with a zinc-topped bar, high ceilings, and a glassed-in wine tower. Appetizers include foie gras served on toast points with a rhubarb-lemon confit that contains a hint of strawberry, and fresh asparagus 'cappuccino' which is a chilled soup served with a dollop of mushroom-scented whipped cream. A fine main dish is the Lake Superior whitefish, browned to perfection and served skin side up on a bed of tender asparagus. English peas and pearl onions in a delicate garlic broth are served as a side. Other menu options include monkfish, sea scallops, rack of lamb, and pork tenderloin. A separate cheese menu which includes composed cheese dishes is available, complete with wine suggestions. Servers are top notch.

Highly recommended: the Steak Delmonico ($38). Recommended drink: the Mojito ($12), made with Monte Cristo rum. - sys, 05/01/2005

I had dinner last night at One Sixty Blue, and the experience was fabulous! The decor is contemporary, clever, and inviting. The food was outstanding. We started with a

herbed goat ch eese plate and a gnocchi appetizer. Both items were the perfect portion, not too much and not too little. For entrees I had the grouper which was outstanding and my husband had the DelMonico steak which was like cutting through butter. T he desserts were fun, with a lot of flavors and textures in unique presentataions. I can't remember the name of my dess ert, but I had a little scoop of rum raisin with chocolate sauce, bananans Foster between delicate chocolate cookies wit h a dollop of chocolate ganache - yum! I've never had anything like it. Entrees are mostly in the high $20 range and u p and it's definitely worth it. There are dishes and combinations on the menu that I've not seen elsewhere. To top it off the service was excellent - very friendly and efficient without being obsequious.

I had some of the best service I've ever experienced in my years of dining. The wait staff, especially our server Nicole, was attentive and knowledgeable and eager to please. Before we even

sat down we were kindly greeted and directed towards the bar where the bartender promptly served us top shelf beverages. Per suggestion, we ordered the duck confit, endive salad with carles roquefort and candied walnuts, and for entrees the Delmonico and the Mahi Mahi. The entire meal was perfectly coursed with wine and topped off with a delectible Sauterne.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! We were treated perfectly. I have never spent this much money for any dinner prior to the evening at this restaurant. This dining experience was worth every penny of the $100 I spent there for 2 people. The beginning of the meal was a Turnip soup that was absolutely superb. Next, we received a cold shrimp appetizer that was excellent beyond any shrimp we had ever tasted. For our main courses we ordered the Delmonico steak & the Mahi Mahi. The Delmonico was butterflied(at request) & was able to be cut with a butter knife. The vinegar sauce added the perfect touch. The Mahi Mahi was just as tender & perfect. The servings were generous. The service was quick & helpful.

I was concerned about the price of our meal prior to the evening we spent at One Sixty Blue. I was delighted to pay for this meal! This restaurant exceeded all of my expectations & gave us the most incredible dining experience ever imagined. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone & everyone!
