This upscale Loop restaurant boasts a lovely ceiling-to-floor window that affords a great view of the Lyric Opera House. Leather booths, cherry trim, and white linens complete the backdrop for a menu of contemporary American dishes. Appetizers may include Shrimp Lollipops: steamed and chilled jumbo shrimp served atop an avocado salad and outlined with fresh gazpacho. Very disappointing. I read the reviews before coming here but disregarded them...BIG MISTAKE! Got romaine salad for lunch...chicken, yum, so I added that from the menu (assuming like any normal human being at a restaurant that it was a grilled chicken breast). When the dish came, it was cold CANNED (HELLO!!!) chicken, mixed with pesto, on top of the salad...HOW DISGUSTING!!! - Tom, 08/01/2006

If you like spending twenty five dollars for piece of seared tuna that is still frozen in



the middle then this is the place for you. The gnocci with wild mushrooms tastes like an old tennis shoe dipped in maple syrup. The desserts aren't much better. I ordered the cheese plate and got three deli slices of grade c mozzarella topped with a spoonful of yogurt. - Diane, 11/16/2005
