Open for weekend brunch, lunch served Tues - Fri, dinner served Tues - Sun, closed Mondays. Enjoy a menu consisting of fresh, seasonal ingredients in this spot, located at the tip of the calming Lincoln Park pond. Start with a crab cake appetizer paired with a side salad of Vidalia onion and lemon. Pan-roasted boneless Amish chicken served with Oregon morel and a ragout of fava beans makes a delicious entree. Located in what was once a warming house and facing the pond between Fullerton and Diversey, this lovely room features a regularly changing menu that reflects the freshest available locally grown produce. Offerings may include crab and avocado salad, pan-roasted pheasant with a ragout of fresh fava beans, and brunch items like vanilla-orange French toast and hazelnut pancakes. North Pond is located just north of the Lincoln Park



Zoo - a great winter date is to walk through the Zoo's Christmas display (open until 9pm) before having dinner here. The wine list is extensive, prices range from $40 to $500. We sampled the whitefish and beef entrees .. excellent. Reservations are recommended, dress code is business casual. Dinner for two will run about $100, plus drinks and tip.
