The finest fast food in Chicago. This little restaurant has been a fixture on the Near North side for more than 25 years. The burgers are flame-cooked, topped with kraut, relish, sport peppers, ketchup, mustard, and onions. Ask for a Dagwood (double cheeseburger) with everything. The rest of the menu (very complete, with dogs, fish sandwiches, chicken, and lots more) is fine, too. I especially recommend the Italian beef and steak sandwiches. If it's your first visit, ask for a Number One with cheese: a burger, fries, and thick shake. The price is right.
