Today at lunch at Mi Patio I had the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant, period. It was dark and looked closed, but we realized they were open so went inside. The lights were off and no one could figure out how to turn them on. We should have left then. Our waitress came over, asked if we wanted drinks, later returned, and took our orders. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Then, unbelievably, our waitress returned, asking the *same exact questions about drinks and orders.* She didn't remember us! There were three tables in the restaurant at that point, and we were baffled. She shuffled away, and when the manager asked her what was going on, she screamed obscenities and swore she hadn't taken our orders. This didn't seem to disturb the manager, but to us it was bizarre and disturbing and we got out of there as fast as we could. We still can't believe it happened! - jill, 02/05/2004
