Open for lunch and dinner Tues - Sun, closed Mondays. This friendly neighborhood restaurant draws a regular crowd thanks to an extensive menu and reasonable prices. Mandarin dishes are skillfully made, and the Taiwanese cuisine is outstanding. Daring diners may want to order salted jellyfish or sea slugs with black mushrooms. More mainstream dishes include ginger stir-fried whole crab, chicken with basil and crispy noodles, and crunchy asparagus painted with satay sauce. Substantial pork and noodle soups available. Choose from Taiwanese and Mandarin favorites at reasonable prices. Mandarin offerings include deep-fried crispy duck marinated in savory spices, shrimp with water chestnuts and pea pods, and moo shu pork, chicken, or veggies.
