Detail for Marrakech Expresso : Restaurant, Coffeehouse / Middle Eastern
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Owner Bouchaid Khribech opened this spot as a coffee shop specializing in Moroccan brews. Occasionally he'd make a little food for the customers, and now his menu (around $8) has expanded to daily cous cous, hummus, kebabs, and house special lamb tagine. Staying true to the coffeehouse tradition and feel, neighborhood musicians perform nightly. Open for lunch Wed-Sun, dinner served nightly; BYOB. - Alotta, 05/01/2006
This place has a lot going for it: terrific coffee; authentic, flavorful, fresh ethnic cuisine, great prices, and free Wi-Fi internet. It has a comfortable atmosphere that's admittedly a bit dowdy, but it's OK. Friends can meet around a couch and coffee table area if they don't want to sit at a table. I recommend the kefta or the kabobs, or for a shared snack, the hummus or babaganoush. The sweet Moroccan mint tea is great too. - Mary, 07/11/2006
