The Marquette is a classic greasy spoon in the ehart of downtown Chicago serving such classics as bread veal cutlet and london broil with mashed potatoes and a salad for lunch and the usual assortment of breakfast omelets and so forth. Some things they do better than others but they always even in the most crowded situations do it fast, an essential element for the downtown work crowd which comprises the majority of its clientele. One thing which I must point is that I and my coworkers saw a cockroach while we were eating there one time and when we told the cashier on the way out the reaction was sub-indifferent. I still go there but a coworker who was with me that day will not. - Planet Mars, 04/27/2006
