Open daily from 9 am - 12 am. This small corner candy store and ice cream shop is a treasure trove of memories from bygone days. Patrons often stop by this pleasantly crammed shop to view the doll collection and other memorabilia on display, as well as to enjoy the finest ice cream around. Choose from an exhaustive list of sundaes, sodas, extra thick shakes and malts, sundaes, and if that's not enough, Margie's Jumbo Creations. If it's made with ice cream, you can get it here! Eat your creation at a nostalgic booth (be prepared to wait) or order it to go, where on the right day you will be encouraged to take extra cookie wafers to accompany your selection. A lunch/diner menu is also available, featuring hearty sandwiches which include a bowl of soup of the day, and entrees such as the meat-loaf plate, sirloin of beef, salmon plate, and for the person who deigns to be health-conscious in this environment, a chicken or tuna stuffed tomato. Step back in time and enter this wood-paneled restaurant. They have sandwhiches on the menu but most people go for the giant ice cream creations, like sundaes and banana splits. Yum. - jms, 09/21/2011
