Excellent prime rib! Fresh fish and sandwiches also. McCormick mansion location. At dinner, beef is carved tableside; sides include Lawry's spinning salad bowl (which features a French sherry wine dressing), creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding.

Cuts include the California Cut, the English cut, Diamond Jim's Cut, and the Beef Bowl cut. Steak prices: $19-35.

this is my mom's favorite place for prime rib so i've been many



times and damn is it good. i get some petite or princess cut with the little lobster tails. yum yum. and the yorshire pudding--omg! you gotta love a place with prime rib carvers that wear giant hats and medals, the salad cart thingy and waitresses in old 70s brown dress uniforms. they know their stuff! also once ate a sandwich in the bar when a sales rep took me for lunch, that was great as well. - jms, 07/02/2011

I can smell the arorma of the prime rib and feel the ambiance as I write this! Chicago is our favorite place to spend a weekend, and Lawry's is our favorite place to eat lunch. I absolutely love Lawry's. When someone is visiting the Chicago area, I always recommend Lawry's for dinner. I've gone several times for lunch (the sandwiches are delicious). I've also gone several times for dinner, especially when I'm celebrating something special. I also love the big chairs and the waiting staff.
